Rainy Season (May–Nov)

Since the country has wet-dry seasons which can overlap on each other, there is a chance that your trip to the islands will be delayed by bad weather. This is dependent as well on your location in the country as some areas experience rain all throughout the year. During the rainy season rain tends to come in heavy, short downpours and in between there is still plenty of sunshine; some travellers insist that a visit during the rainy season is ideal because it is cheaper and less crowded, and the downpours are refreshing

Dry Season (Dec–Apr)

Manila is typically tropical- hot and muggy all the year round. It is a little cooler between November and February and the hottest month is May.
