1. Lang Co
Lang Co is famous for its stunning beach with the massive view to mountains in the distance. The most impressive of this area is its quietness and tranquility. Unlike other touristy beaches in Hue or the Central Viet Nam, Lang Co is not full of tourists and not badly damaged by the development of tourism. Its pale, silvery sand leads invitingly into the clear, shallow waters. Lang Co Sea offers a cool day off with nice breeze. At the bottom, you’re rewarded with a mile-long sand beach to have a great seat for sunset view. Once that happens, you can head out for an early dinner as there are some restaurants selling seafood all along the shore.

These two natural spots has become an icon for those who want to admire the beauty of nature in Hue. Perfume River is described as a charming lady waiting for her gentlemen, Ngu Binh moutain. These 2 sites are proudly complimented as “The loveliest couple all artists are dreaming". It's an ambitious statement that seems believable once you’re actually there.

The best way to view the scenery of Perfume River and Ngu Binh Mountain is to take a boat and follow the waves. This complex is lush, spacious and great for a few hours of relaxation.
Thuan An beach is an option for those looking to just have a fun swimming day. It is the most beautiful and scenic beaches in Hue city. The beach with its long and broad shore is always listed in the bucket list for all tourists who want to step away from the hustling. If that are not scenic enough, you will surprisingly be appealed by the gorgeous view of sunrise. Bring a camera, take a bike and head to Thuan An beach to keep you cool with the refreshing beach breezes.

Ham Rong beach is an attractive place for both first and second time visitors. Unlike Thuan An beach, Ham Rong is a remote beach so its origin beauty is well kept. This is why you will not be disappointed by its long seaside with an endless line of palms and a number of rocks along the beach.

Bach Ma is an enchanting mountain located in the Bach Ma national park which is the natural border of Hue and Da Nang city. Visiting Bach Ma, you can entirely take delight in the stimulating breeze and fresh atmosphere when being on top.

Well-known as the biggest lagoon in the Southeast Asia, Tam Giang captivates people by its tranquility and deniable charm. In Tam Giang, you leave all the worries behind, only happiness and relief left. Beyond, there are a few small rides and a huge lake you can paddle around in a pedal boat. You also have chance to talk to the local to get nose to nose with their daily lives.

Established in 2006, Truc Lam has become a renowned destination in Hue. It is a part of Bach Ma national park, Loc Hoa, Phu Loc, Hue city.
Truc Lam is the first temple in the central of Viet Nam, founded by the priest Thich Thanh Tu. The complex includes 3 parts with many details and ancient features. In front of the temple, you can view a statue which is made from stone with the height of 24 meter and weight of 1,500 tons.

How to get there:
You just need to follow the route of A1 highway, then move to the south for 30 km and pass Truoi Bridge. Keep driving for 9 km and take a boat to Truc Lam which is located in the center of lake.
Huyen Tran Temple is situated in the Ngu Phong mountain which is 10 km away from the city center. This 28 acre construction has been opened for public in 2007 to celebrate the year of Thuan Ho - Phu Xuan.

Getting inside Huyen Tran, you are as being transferred to another world, completly different from the bustling city. Surrounded by green forest and mountain, Huyen Tran is compared as a paradise for all people.
Quang Trung statue was built to honor the merit that Quang Trung - a hero of Viet Nam gave to Viet Nam. The huge statue was completed in 2010 in the celebration of 221 years of crown of Quang Trung (another name is Nguyen Hue).

The statue has a 2,1 meter height with the relied 60 km embossment in the back. The embossment is to describe the renovating path of Quang Trung from his early age.
In 2012, the tourism center "Hue xua va nay" has been operated to bring the local lives closer to tourists. There are many forms of activities and exhibition presented in this center. You can get an insight into the customary working village, traditional music, and many other sites. Also, there are several tours and events offering tourists an opportunity to work and live as a local. These are a few of them: "One day in Hue garden", "24 hours staying local temple", "Be a farmer for a day", etc. This center is a perfect choice to get educated and fun.

14. Hue night street
Hue is now packed with busy streets and alleys selling souvenirs and local foods. These streets are amazing places to wander around and enjoy cool breeze by the river.
