Walk

We found Hoi An Ancient Town very charming and interesting to walk around. Walking is also the most popular way to visit and explore the enchanting Hoi An for all travellers. How wonderful it is to wander along lantern streets at night and stop by art shops or clothing store to get some shopping. When you are in Hoi An ancient town, especially at nights, you cool down your time perception with a deep breath of tranquil surroundings.

Hoi An 4 Days Trip ReportPhoto by: didauchoigi.com

At night, the town becomes busier. There are ladies and kids selling little paper boats (at $1 for 3 units) with candles to float down the river. To chug along the river, you can asj the men standing on boats for an easy trip at about 20,000 VND to 50,000 VND. Getting on boat and landing a lattern on water surface with a wish is not a usual experience for many tourists. It's such a great memory as you date as back as the past time.

Cyclo

Cyclo is also a favorite way to travel around the town for many adventurers. This is a very convenient for travelers to visit Hoi An within close vicinity. You can pay $5/pax to travel by cyclo and the experience is worth every peny. You can easily find them parking along Phan Chau Trinh street and many other main streets near Hoi An Ancient Town.
