Locally known as "Bánh Bao Bánh Vạc". The little white roses are made from rice flour which is filled with spiced minced shrimp or pork, and bunched up to look like little white roses.
The unique thing is cooks have to soak rice flour with water 10 times to make it firm and sticky.

5. Khot cake (Bánh khọt)

Its name comes from the sound “khọt khọt” rang out when the cake is fried.
The main ingredients for this cake are coconut cream, turmeric, salt, spring onion with rice flour. Firstly, you need to fry the cake mould over a flame with vegetable oil, then fill each hole of pan with flour and add a quail egg to each cake. Keep cooking until the cake turns to yellow color and crispy texture. When the food is served, don't forget to eat it with vegetables and fish sauce.
