Well-known as "national cuisine" of the Cambodia, this dish is loved by people of this temple country every morning. They enjoy the noodle made from fermented fine rice with fish curry sauce flavor that creates strong lemongrass taste and turmeric. If you have a chance to travel to Phnom Penh, do not forget to try a hot bowl of Nom Banh Chok served with a plate full of fresh vegetables, sprouts, cucumber and spicy chili sauce.

3. NumPlae Ai

This lovely dessert has some similarities with “Troi” cake in Viet Nam. It is made from finely milled rice flour, molded into a round shape and well-boiled. Each small round cake filled with sugar which is white, tasty, sticky and dipped in asweet caramel bowl with scent of palm, fresh coconut meat sliced. 4. Bai SachChrouk

At 8:30 am, in the food shopsacross many streets in Phnom Penh, it is crowded with people making orders of Bai SachChrouk, a simply grilled pork rice style but very fantastic. 7. NgeavChamhoy

On the food stalls around the streets of Phnom Penh, the potsof steamed cockles with chili, lemongrass and lime leaves will attract diners who love the nightlife. 8. Pumpkin stuffed eggs

At first, this dish is quite strange to many visitors. However it is very delicious and most nutritious in Cambodia. A pumpkin after removing seeds is filled with a thick mixture consisting of egg yolks, sugar and coconut milk. The pumpkin is steamed for about half an hour untilit iscooked perfectly and turns beautifullyyellow. Then, it will be taken out and cut into beautiful milk yellow pieces with separate color layers, which make many foodaholics irresistible. The soft, sweet and fluffy taste by the mixture of pumpkin, eggs and coconut milk has contributed to a wonderful dish in Phnom Penh.
