2. Century high school (Quốc học Huế)
Century high school, is located on the bank of Perfume River, is one of the first and oldest high school in Vietnam. The place used to be a school for children from royal and noble families, which reserved cultural historical value. It’s now a reputation high school in Hue and pride of Hue students.

Century high school has a French architectural design as it was built in French colonial time. Now it still keeps the ancient beauty and atmosphere of green shady trees, stone benches and charming girl students in the traditional Ao Dai. Century high school Campus is the largest one in Viet Nam. It includes a big football field, basketball court, five badminton courts, a swimming pool and a medium stadium. The pagoda has a typical sacred atmosphere of many religious places with lots of pine trees and flowers. You can reach the pagoda by climbing up steep staircases from the river’s edge. The 12 huge wooden sculptures near the entrance gate and the great bell and tortoise housed in the main building are interesting architectural features to see.
Moreover, Phuoc Dien Tower, a seven-level pagoda, is the main prominent architecture in Thien Mu Pagoda. Each level is devoted to one Buddha who is believed came to Earth in human form. The main sanctuary, Dai Hung Shrine housing mportant relics is a long walkway from the Pagoda. You can also see the base of the Truong Son Mountains from the north end of the complex.

The Imperial tomb of Gia Long is one of most important historical sites. Gia Long was the first emperor of the Nguyen dynasty. Gia Long tomb is also the most scenic and impressive place of natural landscape.
The tomb was recognized as one of UNESCO World Heritages that not to be missed.

The tomb does not only host body King Gia Long but also King’s family's. The tomb complex comprises of 3 main parts. There is the double-grave tomb of the Emperor and Queen ThuaThien Cao in the center. On the right side, there is Minh Thanh Temple, dedicated to the Emperor and his first Queen.
