Maokong is known as the biggest growing green tea area in Wenshan district. It’s a fantastic treat for you and your little explorers to spend a day and learn about Chinese tea planation. When you are in Maokong, be sure to sample Tie Kuan Yin – the world most country renowned tea.

In Maokong, there is no shortage for tea-inspired dishes in Wenshang. There are over 50 restaurants serving foods and drinks related to tea with the high top quality.

Located in Xinbeitou park and famous for the hot spring which has the temperature occasionally up to 100 celsius, Beitou Geothermal valley is a favorite stop for both locals and foreigners.

Let’s imagine… you are tired of walking around and around wishing to have time for relaxation, and dipping yourself in hot streams is truly a heartwarming treat. In the past, the local even bring eggs to boil them in the spring but now it’s not allowed anymore.

Wulai is a mountainous village surrounded by two main rivers as Nanshi and Tonghou river. The water is clear enough to see fishes swimming around even in the deepest sections. A huge number of underwater creatures call this place home, which is why so many visitors call it perfect. Recently, Wulai has been picked up among expat tourists for its iconic surrounding.

Once arriving at Wulai, you will instantly be in love with the fresh air and postcard-perfect beauty. The place is as much as fascinating and surprising to set your body in the hot bath service. It's more enjoyable to rent a bike, stroll around the old streets and observe the life of locals. Make sure to hop on San Domigo bastion - a historical monument in Danshui. You also shouldn't miss the unique cuisine in Danshui as there are a number of foods from the sit down restaurants to street vendors waiting to serve. A Ge, a distinctive dish made by soya bean curd, vermicelli, iron eggs which are boiled for a week or Jay Choy, a special soup named after a superstar in Taiwan are some of the sneak peaks of what to order.

Fugui cape is the North pole of Taiwan offering gorgeous scene over the ocean. Most of the tourists traveling to Fugui cape are interested in the lighthouse which was built under the Japanese imperialism. There is a long historic story behind this lighthouse. When you finish a quite long trek to the lighthouse, you will be rewarded with a heartbreaking view to admire how stunning the nature land is.

Also, there is no shortage of seafood in Fugui as you can find a wide range of seafood in the market nearby. Look for the fresh seafood in the market, take it to the restaurant located on the edge of hill roads and ask them to make foods for you.
