Why Zhujiang Park is special ?
Zhujiang Park is an incredible testament to the Chinese ability to plan and implement and to provide outdoor space. The air is fresh and it is suitable to walk along the park to relax. This is the only park in Guangzhou not allow to drive bicycle.
What to explore at Zhujiang Park?
The morning is a great time for people watching. Top sites are people walking and running, or walking backwards, singing Cantonese opera outlook, practicing violin or saxophone, listening to Cantonese opera on a wearable/portable tape player, taking a caged bird for a walk, playing hockey sack, playing badminton, tai chi, and a surprising array of other activities. An interesting thing is to feed the (always) hungry (oversized) koi.

Tips for you
A very nicely designed park with plenty of trees and bushes. Well-maintained lawns and ponds. Great for just walking or jogging too, but go early to miss the crowds in the mornings or early evenings. Bring some bread to feed the fish as well! And dare to walk the stone path too!
