Why Yin Yang Sea is special ?

Yin Yang Sea is located beside the northern coastal road in the Gold Ecological Park region, a curiously colored patch of water. The complementary blue and yellow coloring of this bay brings to mind the ancient Chinese principle of yin and yang, the natural concept of duality. Just as with the dichotomy of light and dark, or cold and hot, Yin Yang Sea expresses a natural balance of two sides of a mutual whole. This awe-inspiring scene provides a perfect opportunity to pause and contemplate what other contrary forces in nature are actually interconnected concepts. Remove assumptions, take a step back, and open your mind to the beauty of nature.

What to explore at Yin Yang Sea?

From this place, you can see the the remains of 13 levels of the gold mines and a short distance away the gold waterfall where our guide manage to show a lit speck of gold dust floating. Only 1 stall selling snack when we visit the place.

Firstly, due to the rusted water from the mountains flowing into the sea, and with the minerals sediments, the coastal sea water can be seen with an orangy and blue-ish portion during the day. Second, at certain times of the day, a somwhat 'yin yang' symbol can be seen at the coastal line, due to the first reason. Really nice to drop by and have a look.

How to get to Yin Yang Sea?

The best way to visit the sense is by car or motorbike. You can hire a private car to visit here.

Yinyang sea is named because of the two distinct colors of the sea at the area, blue and gold. Yinyang sea is interesting but I felt that one do not have to make a special trip just to see the Yinyang sea. You can visit Yinyang sea and Gold Fall if you are visiting Jingguashi, the Gold museum, as the three attractions are nearby. Note that although they are close to each other, it would be more convenient if you do drive as the public buses' interval are infrequent. Nonetheless, if you wish to take public transport to see Yinyang sea, you can take bus 788 to Shuinandong. Yinyang sea is best viewed from Shuinandong.
