Why Writer's Club & Wine Bar is special ?
Chiang Mai’s Writers Club and Wine Bar opened in 2003. It has grown rapidly to become the city’s unofficial press club and a favourite haunt of anybody connected with the media or interested in how local journalists and “scribblers” function. Touted as the ''city’s unofficial press club'', this place is host to many people interested in and related to the media. You don't have to be a member of the press or media though to enjoy the comfortable setting of this place. It's ideal for a quiet afternoon catching up on news from around the world, meeting with friends, even family. The atmosphere is very friendly and the service efficient.

Reviews
We stayed at a very nice hotel across the road from The Writers Club and found ourselves preferring the food and ambiance here! Great for people watching, excellent menu of local cuisine and drinks, all at very reasonable prices. Good service and generally a nice place to stop and eat it just grab a beer or two.
Yummy fresh food, nice patio. We eavesdropped on the live music from the place beside, which was nice.
