The Wat Rong Khun is located just off Highway 1 (Phahonyothin road) about 15 kilometers South West of Chiang Rai town. The most comfortable way to get there is by private air conditioned taxi.

The temple is great, seems just from another world, but you can say it also by looking at the pictures. If you go there expecting more from what you have already seen, well you will probably get a little bit disappointed. Wat Rong Khun, or White temple, is a newly constructed temple made up by an awesome and really fantastic architecture, but from the inside is nothing special, doesn't even seems a temple. To do not loose if you go there is the museum right beside the entrance which contains some of the drawing from its artist/architect which I found simply amazing! It was really surprising!
