Tips for you
Traditional Chinese Temple with Great sculpture architechture
This Taoist Temple Vihara Gunung Timur is located 500 m south of the Hindu temple and It overlooks the Babura River. Known as the oldest temple in Medan that was built on 1962.Unfortunately, I came by not at the right time as they were preparing things up for the upcoming Chinese New Year, February 2013.Surprisingly, a guard stop us when we were about to walk out from the area, he asked for money and even said that there were 2 guards at that moment... It was such an indecent behaviour.. but since we were just 2 backpacker girls, tried to prevent unnecessary things so we gave them 10.000,00 IDR. Never knows what will happen, so please always be careful.
