Reviews
I took the 2 hour lunch cooking class with 7 other people from my cruise group. We were delighted to find the facilities so complete, modern and well equipped. Our translator, Lin, gave us perfect instructions, interpreting the chefs actions as he showed us the steps to preparing our meal. Our meal was simply but simply delicious, fresh and beautifully laid out. First we prepared all the chopped ingredients we would need for our salad and spring rolls at a cutting table. Then we moved to the cooking area where we created sauces, mixtures and rolled our rice paper spring rolls. As we worked, two helpers cleared our used bowls and utensils, wiping up our messes as well! Finally, we moved to the lunch table where we devoured our lunch. Dessert was made for us by the chef. The final touch was a little ceremony in which they called us up each separately by name to receive our diploma, a bound recipe book and shopping bag, with a Pho recipe printed on it. I highly recommend the Vietnam Cookery School!
