What to explore at Vientiane-Vang Vieng Day Tour?

We depart from Vientiane by following the Road 13 toward North. Our first stop will be made at the archaeological site of Vang Xang which dates from the Mon-Khmer period of the 8 - 11th century. En route, we will stop at Hmong village and arrive in Vang Vieng around lunch time. Our lunch will be served at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, we'll visit Tham Chang (Freezing Cave), the biggest cave in of Vang Vieng with very nice setting of the surrounding. Local people have a strong spiritual belief of the cave. There is time to take a rest in a quiet natural atmosphere outside the cave before returning to Vientiane by the late afternoon.
