Tips for you
The Villa rooms r more convenient- with air con and no mosquitoes bite. Plus, a spectacular view of the mountain
With two large beautiful saltwater pools to choose from and a stunning natural feel, this place is my perfect heaven. My first time here and I'm impressed. Staff are friendly and do everything you ask of them (the trick is to ask, they don't full on service/come bother you our interrupt, but as soon as you get their attention they are very helpful). My room is huge (Rosewood Room), and has added bonus of outdoor balcony protected with mosquito netting so you don't have to slather on chemicals when in your room. In fact, not many bugs or mozzies at all. The bathroom tiling is quite amazing, such attention to detail. And fluffy towels! Some of the cloth on the balcony a little stained, but hard not to be in such a tropical climate. Everything else clean and tidy. The food is great, on my first night I had the Champy tasting plate, lots of local flavors as I wanted to try lists without having to think, was pooped from the flight and 3 hour drive from PP. The fish amok was divine and so was the prawn salad, very generous servings. The light coconut green pumpkin dessert was heaven. Plus a glass of wine included for $18 is good value, rest of food is on the expensive side but it's beautifully prepared and the breakfast buffet is impressive. Though I didn't book breakfast, they kindly provided it for no charge, very generous. And a free foot massage! Tip: The infinity pool is a little further from the main area of the resort, but the 90sec walk is worth it. Much quieter and the view is to die for! Highly recommend, am already planning trip back.
