Happened to pass this restaurant in Osaka station, and I'm so glad we tried it. This is some of the best curry that we had in Japan - flavorful, good portions, and great price. We tried the chicken/tomato, chicken/mushroom, and loaded veggie curries. For me, the chicken/tomato was the best. You can also choose the amount of rice you get and spiciness, on a scale of 0-5. I chose 1 for the chicken/tomato and was satisfied. I think the sauces for the loaded veggie curry was fixed at a higher spice level (maybe 2 or 3); it was surprisingly too hot for me to really enjoy, even as someone who usually likes spicy foods. The camp theme is really fun - right down to the thermos of ice water and shovel-shaped spoons. We ended up eating here 3 times - definitely recommend. Avoid the lunch rush if you can (noon-1ish), because they have limited seating. The line moves pretty quickly, though.

There's a whole bunch of vegetables at their front door. Once you step inside the door, you'll feel like you're at camp which is the theme of this restaurant. I ordered the full vegetable curry plus 2 chicken wings. I also choose 100 grams of white rice because I'm on a diet. You can add more rice but at an extra charge, the same goes for the spiciness. First came our rice, then a minute or two after came our curry and a shot glass of what seems to be lomi lomi salmon, but without the salmon, haha. The shot glass did bring me memories of back home (Hawaii), but the taste did not. As for the curry, I felt it was not salty enough. But maybe it's because I have American taste buds, or maybe this was done on purchase to let the natural flavors of the vegetables and curry come out. Either way, it was good, but could have been better. In my overall experience, I enjoyed it. The theme, the food, the atmosphere. I would come back again. Also, this is a Chain store I believe so there are other locations. There's an express one in Ikebukuro Station I believe.
