Tourists who come to admire the reserve will have the opportunity to view rich flora and fauna, particularly the rarely-seen silver langur, within the most bio-diversified wetland in Vietnam, according to international and national research findings.

Reviews
My interest preferred somewhere really authentic and off the beaten path places in Ninh Binh rather than the normal route travelers else go on. So I just had a wonderful day with the guide Ducivan through Ultimate Hanoi Adventures which organized a guided private tour for me. And Van Long nature reserve was our choice. By the 2 hour drive from Hanoi (85 km far from Hanoi). Upon arrival, we spent a 1.5 hour boat ride, here I got to catch many birds and rare monkeys and got stunning views of landscape and rural life. Along with a river, water was so clear that it looks like a mirror reflecting mountains, grottoes and the sky and then we cycle around Keng Ga village before enjoying the hot spring bath here. This Van Long nature reserve is completely untouched. It was fun and great.
Was rowed along for a two hour trip up this lake to see the beautiful limestone hills. Very relaxing. Had to deal with a photographer and hawkers selling snacks and souvenirs but did not detract too much. Paddled mostly by using their feet which was fascinating in itself. Very busy - perhaps too many tourists.
