The Iskender Kebab is to die for. The food are delicious since the owner and chef is well-known ex-chef of Anatolia, Sesai Zorlu. The price is worth the dine experience you get. Fine dining concept.
Bored w Anatolia? Sick of Kemang traffic jams? Turkuaz is a better alternative! Appetizers and salads are my favorite options on the menu. Order a bunch of those and eat tapas style!
I'm a big fan of Turkey and Turkish food, so it's great to be able to enjoy Turkish cuisine at home.I can't decide what is best because everything is soooo tasty. The humus, in particular is just yummy. And not only can you enjoy a great meal, the service is also commendable, the restaurant tastefully decorated, and you can even buy Turkish Delights flown all the way from the country of origin. You can see from the crowd there that this restaurant attracts people from all walks of life: the young, the not-so-young, families, couples, group of friends, locals and foreigners. The location is conveniently located if you want to meet up with friends after office, in the vicinity of the Central Business District. It's quite packed especially on Friday & Saturday nights, so it's best to make reservations. If it were up to me, I would have lunch or dinner here at least once a week.
Had a lovely experience with friends at Turkauz Restaurant on Senopati and really enjoyed the mezze platters to share and great atmosphere. It was really busy as a friday night which was great and it was a great vibe there. You can bring your own wine if you drink which is great for people who want that option and theres lots of options to share so good for groups and friends. Although its pricey Im glad we went and would definitely return.
I love Mediterranean Cuisine and already knew about this restaurant. Luckily this month I had time to try it. The ambience of this restaurant is very nice, it's good place to bring your loved one. They also sell Turkish souvenir.I ordered Mezze Platter with choice add Acili Hummus, Lamb Shank with puree char grilled aubergine and mozzarella cheese (Kuzu Incikli Hunkar Begendi), Sis Kebab with mix of chicken-beef-lamb. Food taste delicious. Lamb Shank is very tender, the puree taste amazing. Mix of kebab, three of them (chicken, beef, lamb) is perfect seasoning. Also I try Baklava: Bademli Cikolatali Dilber Dudagi (chocolate almond baklava), Special Baklava (a layer hand rolled fillo, butter and pistachio), and Cikolatali Findikli Baklava (chocolate hazelnut baklava). Baklava is a very sweet taste dessert. Three of them taste good! I like the hazelnut one it reminds me of Ferrero Rocher haha. The service is also good! They're very helpful and very informative and quick response. The price is quite expensive, but after all it will be a good experience for you to taste an authentic and decent Turkish food––it's worth it!Don't forget to dress at least smart-casual outfit :)
