Why Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower is special ?
The Clock Tower is a landmark in Hong Kong. It is located on the southern shore of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. It is the only remnant of the original site of the former Kowloon Station on the Kowloon-Canton Railway. Officially named Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower, it is usually referred to as the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower for its location.
Built out of red bricks and granite, the Clock Tower peaks at 44 metres, and is topped by a 7-metre lightning rod. The top of the tower can be reached by a wooden staircase located within. The interior of Clock Tower had previously been open for visit, but is currently closed for maintenance. The clock tower is located near Victoria Harbour at the foot of Salisbury Road. The tower has been listed as a declared monument in Hong Kong since 2000.
What to explore at Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower?
Visiting the Tsim Sha Tsui Clock Tower, you can take a look through one of the windows and you will be able to spot the old tower bell. In the past, there have been some opportunities and even tours going up the tower but unfortunately not anymore. Today the area around the historic Clock Tower is a famous sightseeing and meeting point. The area around the Clock Tower is often used for special events and decoration. Especially on public holidays such as Chinese New Year and Christmas, Hong Kong government puts up beautiful decorations and illuminates them at night.

Tips for you
If you are on a time- budget, you might want to consider visiting this attraction at night since it is elegant to look, plus it's the entrance to the Avenue of Stars (which I find it best to look at night), and wait for the Symphony of Lights at 8PM. LOCATION: The attraction is located in Tsim Sha Tsui, near the Star Ferry Terminal and the Avenue of Stars. HIGHLIGHTS: The place is just good for photo opts, chilling out, or as a meeting place for people. It is well- lit at night time and looks elegant. There is free government wi- fi around the area as well. You can actually pass the time away while waiting for the Symphony of Lights which starts at 8PM, or stroll around the Avenue of Stars.
Good vantage point to see the Symphony of Lights. Just be sure to get to the viewing deck early before it gets too crowded.
