Bangkok Tour – this tour will take you to interesting places like
• the Grand Palace
• Wat Pho
• Wat Arun
• Wat Trimitr
• Vimanmek Mansion
• The Jim Thompson House – or the King of Thai Silk
The Fishing Village Tour – this is not a very well known tourist spot. Together with your tour guide, you will spend a day with Reid, a local fisherman to get a glimpse of the life in a fishing village. You will be in a wonderful place full of wildlife and old style agriculture in Thailand
Tiger Temple – also called Wat Pa Luangta Bua, it is a wildlife sanctuary. When it started, there are only a few jungle animals in its care. At present, there are many animals roaming the grounds freely. The first tiger cub arrived in 1999. Now the tigers have reproduced so much that they are given their separate area in the forest monastery. You can experience feeding and washing tiger cubs and adolescents and having a picture taken with them at 1,000 bahts per person.
Elephant Rides and Elephant Baths – an elephant ride is just a routine job for the elephant. But if you want real excitement, giving an elephant bath will really be a fun thing to remember. However, this is strictly voluntary and those who are afraid to do so will not be forced to. The elephant bath or ride will cost you 600 bahts per person. You need to prepare to be wet though.
Floating Market – If you want to experience haggling for an item in a unique market set-up, then the Floating Market will provide you with exciting moments of fun. You can choose to go on a half-day or a full day. The full day tour is longer and is combined with other site seeing activities.
Maeklong Train Market – This tour is for those who are the adventurous types who want to take some risk. This market is located where trains pass through it 8 times a day. The excitement builds up when a train is coming and the vendors quickly gather up their merchandise before the train arrives. After the train has passed, each vendor will lay his wares again along and in the train tracks. It is located an hour’s drive from Bangkok in a small province called Samutsongkram. You will pass by Damnoen Saduk Floating Market before you reach this train market.

Tips for you
We had our third 'tour with tong' in a year a few weeks ago. we were so impressed last time that we booked again! This time our guide was Jintana. We chose the train market, floating market and fishing village trip.TRAIN MARKET: The train was late (as normal) but this allowed us time to get a drink, have a look at the produce and try some local fruits. It was a really funny experience as you hear the warning bell going off and everyone runs about pulling down canopys etc. The train comes in and goes over the top of the traders produce. As soon as the train moves past, they run to put it out again! A unique place to visit.FLOATING MARKET: This was touristy but fun! We travelled around in a private boat and Jintana got us some coconut pancakes from a wee woman on a boat - they were amazing! There were a number of people to buy from and Jintanas advice re where to buy saved a bit of money.FISHING VILLAGE: Again, totally unique. Firstly we went out on a little boat to an area where wild monkeys live. As soon as they see the boat coming the run along the side of the river or SWIM towards you to get some bananas! We had two mummy monkeys with little bables in their pouches that jumped on the boat to get fed. They came close to get the bananas and then sat at the front of the boat. They were lovely and I wasn't uncomfortable with them at all! Jintana had brought about 5 bags of bananas, so the moneys were well fed!!We then sailed around the area with the fisherman who showed us how they farm mussels, oysters, etc. We then went to a stilt house where they provided lunch. For 2 people we were given: a whole sea bass (im not a fishy person but it was really good!), a crab, 8 big prawns, lots of soup, a big pile of rice, about 15 fish cakes......... There was so much that we could not finish it! As I don't like touching seafood - they people who served us took it away and peeled it for me!! The food was so fresh and lovely. The folk were very friendly.I think that we left Bangkok about 7 and were back by about 4.30?Jintana is such a lovely person. We discussed all sorts of things from the history of where we were but she also chatted about us/her family/Thailand in general/her job/the royal family.... She was great at looking after us, she is very friendly and cheery, she took lots of photos for us and made sure that we were happy! Our driver was great. His car was spotless, he was friendly, provided us with cool towels/water, was always there with the air con switched on and his driving was very professional. He also provided us with pillows as it took about an hour to get back to Bangkok.**When I booked, I just emailed the details and then called her. Tong knew exactly what I was saying, her English was fab and she understood the Scottish accent. We had everything done and in was off the phone within 2 minutes. Your guide also calls to confirm the night before. If you need a guide, use 'Tour with Tong' - you will love them!!
