Tips for you
Exhausted, exhilarated and motivated. Three words to describe how I felt at the end of my first class at Torq. Unbeknownst to me, I had arrived for a race day in which Torq regulars competed against each other and a local pro. As a result it was a pretty intense and hot introduction to Hong Kong spin. The best thing about Torq is that the bikes have power meters which means you can judge your effort and compare your performance week by week. The setup is not quite as slick as I have seen at other spin classes in London but works well enough. Your live stats are also displayed on a leaderboard at the front of a class so you can see how you are doing against other people in the class. For the competitive, this provides added motivation to get ahead/sty ahead of your nearest spinning rival. It certainly works for me. Changing rooms are clean and nice with free towels etc. It would be nice to have a bit more space but this is Hong Kong! All in all, a good setup and your first ride is free so sign up online and see for yourself
