Why Thức Coffee is special ?
Thức Coffee is a local street coffee shop that has become a small chain. You will find a lot of young and teenage locals gathered here day and night. Thức in Vietnamese means ‘awaken’ or ‘wake up’ (or 醒). Thức has four locations in District 1 (two are within 200 meters of each other), and all are busy, especially at night. Iced milk coffee is served in paper cups for Đ30,000; the quality is average. Each location has an indoor area which is busy during the day and sidewalk space that becomes crowded at night. Unlike the other cafes on this list, Thức locations are designed and branded rather generically, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t pleasant places to hang out.
