Why The Venue Cabaret is special ?
The Venue Cabaret show nightly on the ground floor of the Venue Hotel in the Jomtien Complex. The Jomtien Complex is the gay/gay friendly area of Jomtien. The "singing" is mostly lip sync but regardless the show is very entertaining. The show is free and the drinks are reasonably priced.
What to explore at The Venue Cabaret?
This is a full cabaret show with much glitter, great costumes, with professional standard live and lip singing.
Unequaled for quality production values, pure good fun and sexy boys and lady-boys throughout!
New show every second day and with a great variety of clothing and styles you will certainly manage to find something you like.
There are differences in the quality of the dancers and also for the ladyboys, but this is Thailand and you can easily see and feel the joy among the performers.
The level of professionalism is comparable to Off-Broadway. (The size is the only thing that prevents it from being compared to a full-sized theatre) The drink prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and accommodating while not intruding on your enjoyment of the show. The performers are energetic and seem to enjoy their work. When you meet them after the show, they are gracious and happy to take photos with guests. There are three different shows and each one is very well done.
- Top class entertainment
- Incredibly professional performers
- Reasonably priced drinks
- Great variety of costumes
- Great singing live

Tips for you
Very friendly staff and top class entertainment. No pressure to buy drinks - even though they were extremely cheap when you did. The shows were well put together and although some sections could have done with a bit more rehearsal, what was lacking, was more than made up for in enthusiasm and energy! Costumes and make up of the artists was stunning. A nice touch was that at the end of each show all the performers came off the stage and stood at the front of the venue to talk, have photos taken with customers, and to genuinely be friendly to all. Seating was comfortable and even when it was full, the waiters would still try to find you a seat - and a drink. Each show changes several times a week - and its free! How they make any money is beyond me, but this venue was one of the highlights of my trip to Thailand..
