Why The Shilla Duty Free Seoul is special ?
Shilla Duty Free Shop, situated next to the Hotel Shilla, boasts differentiated hotel-style services, such as a guest lounge and cafeteria, and high-class facilities. The shop features a wide range of world-famous brands arranged by categories so that guests can easily locate their favorites. It also operates free shuttle buses connecting Seoul’s major shopping districts.
Shilla Duty Free Shop has always featured a variety of luxury brands, such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Hermès since its opening, and houses Prada, Marc Jacobs, Vivienne Westwood, Mulberry and Miu Miu as well as True Religion and Seven Jean. Recently the shop has introduced the French brand, Chloe, the American label for women’s shoes, Nine West, and Calvin Klein underwear.
In addition to the large big-name boutiques, the range of goods offered by the store, such as cosmetics, watches, jewelry and gifts, are arranged by departments to provide a pleasant space and ensure the efficient flow of shoppers and visitors.
What to explore at The Shilla Duty Free Seoul?
Going to Shilla Duty Free Shop, you can find over 500 brand-name products of perfume, cosmetics, clothes, bags, watches, and jewelry of various brands, all of which can be purchased at discounted prices. This store is up a large hill. It's fine if you're on one of those tour busses but along with the construction near by, it made it tough to walk up to the store.
The brands are all luxury goods except for some food stuffs for purchase and a small electronics counter.
The store is also surprisingly small with cramped paths and low ceilings. We had way more fun at the COEX Lotte Duty Free store.

Tips for you
Basically they sell everything to high end brand. Enrolled yourself as their member to indulge more discount but not for high end brand like Prada etc. This place is overwhelming by Chinese!
Arrived late afternoon. Full of tourists. Most service attendants speak Mandarin. A few speak smattering English and only one I met spoke pretty good English. Nonetheless if you know what you want, easy to communicate. Korean brands are given to you right away. International brands have to be collected at the airport. Look around the normal malls first to see what you want. Make a list so you can go in and out fast.
