Sasi is the best waiter in the industry!

The boss is probably the most polite and humble fella I've ever met in a Prata store. Great food. What more does a prata lover need?

The mee goreng is inconsistent. It depends on who's the cook on duty. I recommend sticking to prata.

We had tried one of the famous Prata shops yesterday and it just so happened that we were meeting a group of friends near the Springleaf estate when we decided to drop by The Prata Place for some drinks and Prata. As we had two dogs with us, first was to check if dogs were allowed for the outside seating. Yes! That was our passport to this eating establishment. We ordered the original Prata, egg Prata as well as the tissue Prata. Love the Prata here... Freshly made and crispy were the order of the day!Only setback is that we had to ask for the curry gravy and they only brought 2 bowls to share when there were at least 5 of us eating. It would have been better if we each had our individual bowl of curry...Other than the curry, we really love the Prata here and will definitely return.

Brought my family to dine lunch after watching Wok Stars how good the owner was. We saw many staff wearing red uniform & two wearing in white. Waiter R.Sasi attended to our table, no welcoming smile but looked stern & serious. He didn't bother to recommend us as we were first timers & looked lost & confused with myriads of dishes in the menu. We felt totally unwelcome. He promised us two plates of fish curry & chicken curry each yet only one was served. He didn't bother to check on what came to our table after the orders were taken. If the owner is contented with his attitude & manner of serving, I guarantee many diners will walk straight to the door & never returned but support other roti prata eateries elsewhere. This man's Service is terribly horrendous & unacceptable in such settings. Noise level in the premise was extremely unbearable when tables start to fill up. Perhaps, I would suggest making the walls softer to absorb sound & noise such as installing curtains. I could hardly hear my family talking despite sitting adjacent to each other. The chicken floss prata was really humongous, so be caution if you are a small eater. Teh Tarik was just do-so, nothing to shout about. I had plain roti (roti kosong) & it was just ok, won't come back for second round. It's thick, floury & heavy. Perhaps, slightly thinner could make it more palatable & the desire to want more. However, both the curries were good, but not great. We had mutton, cooked curry style, & the flavour was just so-so, not a memorable one. Overall, food was ok but not a wow thing to lure us to return. The most vital let-down was the service especially by R.Sasi & not the others with red uniform ones. I would assume from his age & his white uniform, he would be a more courteous, enthusiastic, welcoming & senior staff who could have boost up the dining experience for any customers who walked in. Very very disappointed with the whole lunch experience & our expectations were terribly affected especially after watching from the highly anticipated Wok Stars episode. Seriously I dare not recommend any of my friends nor relatives to dine here unless the founder/owner settle with this staff & improve on the taste & flavoring of the dishes.
