Why Taipei Water Park is special ?
Taipei Water Park is one of the facilities invested by Taipei Water Department. It functions as an educational place that introduces people how to use water Taipei Water Park locates at an ideal location near Gongguan Night Market and National Taiwan University. The park is an educational contribution by the Taipei Water Department. Its principle is to introduce water resources of Taiwan and instruct correct ways of water usage.
Children are welcome to join exciting water games and abundant recreational facilities. Moreover, swimming pool, SPA pond, etc are popular for relaxations.
Another educational facility inside the park is called Museum of Drink Water; it provides knowledge and information of water resources. The museum has been awarded in 1933 as Tier-three historic site by the Ministry of the Interior of Taiwan. It was constructed in beautiful Baroque style, which often attracts people for taking romantic wedding photos.
What to explore at Taipei Water Park?
Adjoined to the site of Taipei's Museum of Drinking Water is the Taipei Water Park. Taipei Water Park consists of an outdoor and indoor area, with fun water activities for both children and adults.
At Taipei Water Park, visitors can enjoy slides, water rides, swimming pools a SPA pond and other leisure equipment. The Taipei Water Park is open longer during the Summer - from the 1st of July until the 31st of August, while other months open till 6pm. Entrance tickets are sold till one hour prior to the opening hours.
Taipei Water Park has also become the host to Taipei's famous Summer pool parties. Hosted by Frog in a Sock, Taipei city's infamous events company, these pool parties began as intimate poolside affairs and have since evolved to pack out the water park with youngsters, bikini babes and even families looking to splash around and cool down during the scorching weather. The Frog in a Sock pool parties are only held during Summer, but they feature live DJs and are among the most talked about events in Taipei's Summer social calendar. For tourists in town during Summer, this is a great way to meet young Taipei residents and enjoy some poolside beats. The event is also pretty family-friendly and many parents enjoy the party while kids splash in the pool.
This is a great way to safely entertain the kids and find some despite from the brutal Taipei Summer sunshine. And there is a water museum that is worth taking a look.

Taipei Water Park: Walk 5 minutes from Exit 4 of MRT Gongguan Station toward Siyuan Street.
Aqua-Friendly Experience & Education Area: Walk 3 minutes from No. 1 Exit of MRT Gongguan Station toward Section 3, Tingzhou Road.

Taipei Water Park: Summer Period (from July 1 through Aug 31): open to public from 9:00 am till 8:00 pm (Tickets offer up to 7:00 pm); in period other than Summer Period: open to public from 9:00 am till 6:00 pm (tickets offer till 5:00 pm). Monday is the day off, but if Monday falls into continuous holiday, it is still open to the public. Aqua-Friendly Experiencing and Education Area:Open to the public from 6:00 am till 10:00 pm.
