Reviews
Went to the restaurant in Old Bagan twice for dinner in two days. It's tucked away a little off the main road, but well worth the walk. The food was absolutely delicious -- I had the cashew chicken one night and the fish curry the other (my friend had the grilled fish which was a standout) and mains range from about 3,500 to 6,000 kyat each. Not expensive at all for the quantity and quality you are getting. We also shared a fruit plate after each meal (about 2,000/2,500 if my memory serves me right), the serving size of which was very generous and had great variety. Oh and I forgot to mention the fresh, warm complimentary bread that they gave before each meal as well as the crazy attentive service -- and ask for a mosquito coil if the mosquitoes bother you at night!
Nice location next to the temples in a small garden-ish setting. I enjoyed the avocado salad with orange and pomelo a lot. Gai pad med mamuang was not as the one in Thailand but variations are good.
