Why St. Regis Bar is special ?

Through grand walnut doors opening from the hotel’s 12th floor lobby, The St. Regis Bar welcomes guests to an enchanting environment, unmatched in all of Osaka. Discover sweeping city views and a quiet Zen garden terrace as you relax and enjoy handcrafted cocktails in a setting of deep turquoise paneled walls, a precious blue tiger’s eye bar, tall mirrors, and a deep corniced silver ceiling. Candlelight, rich leather seating, and a grand piano add to the bar’s allure. Overall, the décor was designed to reflect the Momoyama era of Japan, a period of hope, prosperity and harmony and a time when Japan opened up trade from the east to the west.

Share the trio of mini Yorkshire puddings, packed with thinly sliced top sirloin, smothered with a rich jus and onions, plus horseradish on the side. Don't forget the barbecued pulled pork sliders.

Conveniently located before the elevators to your room, we stopped by a few times and had drinks there. Very well appointed with full bar for any types of drinks you desire.

It was expensive (it is the St. Regis), but the staff were great (all of the staff I spoke to spoke fluent English) and the drinks and food were good. The atmosphere is a bit stuffy (not in a bad way, but rather the decor is very traditional and not modern), but it was nice. The hotel has a good location and isn't close to the other main hotels.

I've been here a number of times. Its a great place to take your special person.duribg the warmer months they open up the deck area where u can relax in style under the stars. This place is expensive but perfect for a night cap or a" before dinner drink ".Mojitos are fantastic. Priced at about $14 I think thats fine for the quality you receive.Fantastic and romantic.

The decor is really superb with a rich dark electric blue as theme. The mosaic or silk art behind the bar counter could be in an art gallery. I didn't go close enough to touch it so cannot be sure what material it was made of. Service excellent and a good selection of Japanese whiskeys and two different plum wines. I can't remember if there was champagne by the glass as if there was I most likely would have ordered one. There were champagne by the bottles but not much selection. This is Japan. A very good female vocalist performed at night and it was just magical.
