Reviews
Srey Pov is in amongst all of the other crab shacks and looks out over the sea so a great place to come for lunch or have dinner as the sun goes down.We opted for this place quite by accident. We were not disappointed at all!! Kimlys seems to get all of the press and mentioned in all of the guide books and reviews but we had heard that they weren't necessarily the best. They would have had to have been ASTOUNDING to top what we had at Srey Pov!!!! We had 2 different amazing crab dishes and a squid dish- all fabulous. One was a 'spicey' crab, the other, the infamous Kampot pepper crab. OMG!!! That peppercorn sauce was divine!!! I'm back home after my holiday and STILL dreaming about that sauce!! The restaurant itself is quite rustic but the service was good and when you place your order you literally see the fisherwoman walk out to the crab pots, haul them in and hand them over to the restaurants representative - so you can't get fresher than that! To top it all each crab dish was about 7 dollars - a bargin!! What are you waiting for!!!!
