Why Seopjikoji is special ?
Seopjikoji is located at the end of the eastern shore of Jeju-do Island. "Seopji" is the old name for the area, and "Koji" is Jeju dialect meaning a sudden bump on land. Green fields without a single tree spread beyond the cliff to where a rock called “seondol” protrudes. Also there are stonewalls along the road to block the wind on the way to the lighthouse at the end of Seopjikoji. Within the stonewalls, you may find the most brilliant rapeseed flower fields every April. Going up the metal steps of the lighthouse, you can view the whole seashore at a glance. On Koji hill, there stands a stone Bongsudae (4 m high, 9 m long and wide) that retains its original form.

What to explore at Seopjikoji?
Seopjikoji is well known as the filming location for the TV mini-series “All In.” It is a vast hill where you can take a walk against a beautiful background of the ocean view. Midway through the walk, you will find the house of “All In,” which is an intriguing attraction. There is a separate admission fee to visit the house.
The entrance to Seopjikoji is free, so more reasons to go! It's open 24 hours as well for those who are adventurous to go during night time. The place is booming with romantic atmosphere and it would be great to visit here with someone you could hands with amidst the strong wind especially during the cold weather of Korea. Jeju definitely lives up to being the romance island of the country especially with one special tourist spot like Seopjikoji

If you walk towards the end after the Lighthouse, you can catch Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak (a dramatic coast line with black rocks, and a romantic walking trail.) and you should bring a jacket it tends to be windy and cold during sunset. Besides, you can also overlook some meadows and horses grazing.Things nearby

“Breathtaking View! Must visit.” I was here near end of Summer. This place is worth a visit. A must! Looking in the internet i thought that i can get a sneak peak of Sunrise Peak from this place. Unfortunately the view was obstructed by Aqua Center which were build few years before. The scenery was nice & we've bought a wall potrait picture of all of us (it is actually wood potrait). Stroll down the path until walk up the light house. This place is a beautiful place. But since we're here end of winter the place has only plain grass. No flowers but good weather. But we do enjoyed our self here walking & taking our time slowly stroll down the pathway untill the end. I got a few nice pictures of our family here.. Pro's: Nice terrific view. Con's: Stroller cannot be use here.
It's better to go on a good day. The wind is enough to freeze you in autumn or winter but nice scenery and walk.
