For starters, try the 'MACAU CHORIZO AND CHEESE TIDBITS' which is similar to fried spring rolls which you dip in vinegar. You may also want to try the Camote Cups. The signature soup 'Sinigang na Corned Beef' seems to be a favourite. However, do note that this is slightly sour so beware. If grilled fish is your thing, try the galungong fillets fried in garlic oil and topped with browned garlic. The fried pork are also a must try.

Sentro 1771 is famed for its Corned Beef Sinigang. I got to try it with a couple of my friends and it was really good! Before serving it, one of the waiters will bring you a sample of the soup to check with you if it's the level of sourness of the soup based to your liking. They temper the taste as needed. I also enjoyed their Lechon Kawali and my friend loved their Seafood Bagoong Rice. Needless to say we were not able to take pictures of the food as we ate everything immediately upon serving. The photos accompanying this review is from online. Happy eating! :)

I live a few cartwheels away from Greenbelt yet I have never really ventured into Sentro more regularly than I should. I think a habit is in the looming. My partner had a craving for crispy para over the long weekend and my online search led us to Sentro whom the bloggers claim have one of the best fried pork knuckles this side of Manila. It was a quiet lunch crowd - not the usual frenzy which was a welcome surprise. We ordered the pata, ampalaya and malunggay, galunggong and the obligatory rice. The pata, I was told had the good ratio of meat, crispy skin and thin layer of fat. It was served with a sweet soy & vinegar dipping sauce and atchara. The sautéed ampalaya and malunggay came with diced chicken and shrimp and was served in a small bowl. It was clearly not enough for two. The Rated GG (galunggong) was very good - with enough fillets for us. It was served swimming in olive oil with the perfect amount of spices sprinkled on top. Our meal was washed down with bottomless sago't gulaman which I enjoyed tremendously. Our meal did not come cheap - roughly P800++ per person but for good reason. The meal was of good quality, in a pleasant ambiance and commendable service from the waiting staff

Very good Filipino food here! Vampires Cup is a bit filling, Sinigang Na Corned Beef is the signature. Rated GG is the Galunggong fillet.
