Booked three excursions and all worked well. First was transport only to Borobudur. Second to Solo, Candi Sukuh and Candi Ceto. Driver found us a good place for lunch overlooking tea plantation.Best tour was the village cycling with Rintel. He took us through the back roads to cottage industries including tofu and Tempe making, brick making and prawn cracker factory. His English was good and he explained everything very well. Best stop was at his friend Sumani's house where she made us Tempe and tea. It was a great morning and thoroughly recommended.
We booked a cycling tour, cooking course and cave tubing. We had 2 amazing days, the staf was very kind and take the time for our trip. They make pictures and can tell a lot about yogya. We had a lot of fun! We will recommend it to everybody!
We booked the 3 night karimunjawa trip with Satu Dunia after our friends highly recommended it to us, and we were so happy that we did. Every part of the tour was well organised without feeling too structured, we were picked up from our hotel in Yogyakarta an taken straight to the ferry where we were greeted by our guide Luppa who was waiting with a sign with our names on. We stayed at the coconut house, a pristine quirky house with nicely decorated rooms and chill out area to laze around, and had the best coconut pancakes each morning. We went to stunning beaches and snorkelled above some of the most beautiful coral we've seen in Asia. Two other guides joined us on the snorkel trips and took great photos of the fish, unspoilt coral and action shots of us attempting to freedive. We were taken to deserted island beaches and to the local fish market for dinner. Our journey home was again straightforward with the ferry and minibus, dropping us at our hotel back in Yogya. This was the highlight of our time in java and is up there with the best things we've done in three months of travelling SE Asia. Thank you. Kate and Nicola, England.
Myself and my partner were holidaying in Yogyakarta and wished to organize our tours using a tour guide. The team at satu dunia particularly Lupa were fantastic they organized everything efficiently and professionally yet still knew that we were looking for a fun and relaxing time and made the experience really personable. We would definitely recommend satu dunia and will be contacting Lupa next time we are in Jogja.
