Tips for you
A recent refurbishment has made the restaurant seemingly more spacious and bright (if anything the lighting is too harsh and could be toned down t0 create a more intimate ambience). There is a clear separation between the smoking and non-smoking areas, which is welcome. And you can't go wrong with any item on the menu. The service is very good too, with the well trained staff being polite and efficient. There is no service charge levied on the bll, so do remember to leave a tip for your server. Visited April 2015
All food are delicious, I like the satay sauce, tongseng, tahu telor and everything. The express one also good, unless the gado2. Just one thing, the reservation is bad,it requires 10 person to book, and pay downpayment first,if it's under 10, you have to come and directly talk to manager, what kind of reservation is this?! Please fix it, try to be like a normal restaurant. It seems you only care about big group and big money Visited June 2014
Have known this resto since I was in elementary school(in the 80's). My grandma often took me for special treats from time to time. Till now is still my fave. Would visit for family dining or invite foreign guests for a taste of Indo food. My last visit on 27 May'14 for dinner. Ordered signature dishes ie chicken sate (served with creamy peanut sauce..nyam2), tahu telor (fried tofu with eggs with sauce). This time tried ikan pesmol (fried fish with pickled and chily). Indeed yummy and hot. If you like fish, should try this (+/- IDR100K=U$10). Dine in this resto is always good :-)
