Why Royal Malaysia Police Museum is special ?
The Royal Malaysia Police Museum includes exhibits from the history of the Royal Malaysia Police since its origins under British colonial rule until the 1970s.
The Royal Malaysia Police Museum is divided into three lettered galleries. Gallery A is dedicated to the colonial police, and displays old police uniforms and equipment. Gallery B showcases the history of the police force's vehicles as well as unusual evidence from past cases, including from investigations into triads, secret societies, and communists. The final gallery, Gallery C, is dedicated to the role of the Royal Malaysia Police during specific historical periods, including the Japanese occupation during WWII and the Bukit Kepong Incident during the communist insurgency.

Reviews
The police museum is located next to the KL bird park. Within the museum compound but in the open air are a small selection of armoured vehicles and cannons, a police boat and the police force's first airplane. The interior has three sections arranged by theme. Some of the themes are police personalities, uniforms and equipment in various periods, a section on WWII and "Bukit Kepong" and the Communist insurgency, an interesting section displaying confiscated arms and police investigations, displays on 'police' of several Malay kingdoms and numerous other exhibits. A very nice surprise as I had not expected much from this museum. To top it off, the personnel there were some of the friendliest fellow Malaysians I had ever met.
I am impressed with the museum set up and how they arrange the exhibitions. I totally recommend to museum cum history lovers :-)
