Why Roopali Wakakusamachi is special ?
As a rare Indian restaurant in Hiroshima, this establishment could probably have got by on novelty factor alone – but by many accounts, this is some of the finest Indian food to be found in Japan. Old classics such as chicken tikka masala with naan are always a favourite, and the quality of ingredients and portion sizes are also a winner. For those on the move, its close location to Hiroshima station (and therefore the largest hotels in the city) makes it an attractive location for a quick bite, and many are known to make regular pilgrimages there on trips to Hiroshima.
Some must-try dishes:

How to get to Roopali Wakakusamachi?
The modern Astram links the city center with the northern suburbs, although there aren't many tourist sights out that way. Trips range from ¥180-470 by distance, with departures every few minutes between 6AM-midnight. The underground station at the end of Hon-dōri, near the Peace Park, is the terminus in the city center.

Tips for you
We needed a break from the Japanese food and the okonomiyaki and Roopali was a great change. The naans are awesome. Really big in size but so fluffy and soft. We had the palak paneer and the chick pea curry and both were very good. We wanted to order a raita (vegetable salad yogurt) which was not on the menu but the chef made one for us on a special request - it was so good! They should really think about putting it on the menu. Had a great night with lovely food and great service. The restaurant decor is really nice too. Will surely recommend!
