Tips for you
Red Is part of Pure Group which also runs Pure Yoga and gym. It has a good location at the top of IFC with an outdoor area that gives you spectacular views and a great enjoyment during good weather. Indoors, it has a comfy bar and restaurant that is tastefully furnished. It serves western food - pizza, pasta, salads and a brunch menu. Food is decent and not too highly priced given its location. It is busy on weekdays but the restaurant is very quiet on Sundays. My spouse and I enjoyed a quiet Sunday lunch in the restaurant. Service is friendly and efficient. However the outdoor area appears to be open to the public and we could not get any seats there. The people just brought their own food and sat at the al fresco area for a really long time that there's no point to wait wait for them to leave. I've passed the outdoor area on week days and the situation is not the same. So, I guess that's why the restaurant is not busy on Sunday's. Food is ok, not amazing but alright. We ordered scallop with pesto pasta and a grilled fish. Photos attached.
Good place to chill in IFC ,casual chilling place with nice view, cocktail is nice
so this bar sits above the shopping mall, adjacent to a "public" park and is integrated with the Pure fitness club.Drinks are great but premium price. The place is excellent for pre-dinner drinks when the weather is good. You get great views of the harbour and the skyline. Plenty of space. The inside part is fairly small (actually ideal to rent out for a private event but not necessarily somewhere that I would go for dinner).I think the coolest part is going into the bar via Pure fitness (just so cool and weird walking into a sporting goods store and coming out into a lounge bar).
The Red bar is in IFC2 and has a large public space outside the restaurant which is a popular hang out for the post work drink with western expats. Great drinks well mixed and quickly served, but you have to to the bar to order. However the food or snacks are delivered to your table. We enjoyed a couple of hours here one night soaking up the atmosphere and the buzz. Lovely views and no a bad spot to see the evening light show.As the terrace is a public space you can also bring your own drinks - but why would you...The snacks were excellent and good value.A regular place to meet up when we are in HK.Recommended.
This is a really upmarket bar with great views of the harbour. located in the ifc building it attracts lots of interesting people.
