Why Reaching Out Tea Rooms is special ?
Reaching Out Tea Rooms is an extension of the Reaching Out brand- a charity to help the disabled in Hoi An and nearby areas. It stands out on Tran Phustreet with a hand-painted sign on the wall “The beauty of silence” which is exactly what you can feel when sitting in this shop. By enjoying a cup of one of their exquisite teas or coffees, you already help the speech and hearing impaired staff receive the gift of integration into a work environment that empowers them, and the pleasure that their hospitality brings to guests partaking in the Teahouse experience. That’s a good way to do charity.

Tips for you
Reaching out tea rooms Hoi An Vietnam. Fantastic tranquil tea rooms located in the historic old town of Hoi An close to Da Nang. The staff are amazing having to deal with and overcome disabilities such hearing and speech impairments but the warmth and friendliness received from them is overwhelming. The setting of the tea room is wonderful and it is set in an ancient house of antiques. Hoi An itself means peaceful meeting. Please visit these tea rooms you will be calmed by the relaxing atmosphere and the beautiful teas and coffees. Fair trade operating principles also ensure that their disabled artisans and servers receive fair wages and work under safe conditions. Truly Amazing people!!
My favorite experience in Hoi An . An absolutely gorgeous tea house run by deaf people who like the above, would be on the street if they were not serving tea here. This is a still, soothing sanctuary in otherwise bustling Hoi An. I sat in the front alcove and sipped chilled green tea while eating the Vietnamese answer to ginger snaps. Don’t miss this opportunity when you’ve had it with the hustle and heat of Hoi An.
What a lovely experience in Hoi An. The Tea was delicious, the staff was helpful and friendly, and it supports an amazing cause. We were happy to sit in the serene location and watch the activity on the street while sipping on some delightful tea!
