Tips for you
Went to KL in September for the Art Expo Malaysia. This place is along Jalan Duta and just about 5 mins walk from Wedgewood Residences. I would bring my staff there to have a cheap and good breakfast for the 4 days of the stay. Let me tell you....the food is delicious! Total for breakfast (for 7 persons) would come up to about RM$60.
Possibly the cleanest mamak on earth, it has a fancy Dyson hand-drier even. No sticky tables an floors ftw. Slightly pricey though, a banana leaf rice meal with plain water costs RM12.
I am a fan. They are pricey compared to the norm, but I am willing pay for it because of the delicious basic banana leaf rice set they have to offer. I have been to numerous place who doesn't serve good vegetables but Ravi's vegetable meal is cooked to perfection! Their green leaf dishes is so soft and mushy mixed with the right amount of dhall and I fell in love in their pumpkin chutney at the first bite. On the meat division though they flared well as well. The mutton and chicken is cooked till tender, moist and juicy and the seasoning wasn't too heavy and taste really natural. I saw a sign saying there is no MSG used for cooking, perfect. I hate it when I feel thirsty after a unhealthy meal out. After finishing my meal with the ultimate teh ais, I would rate this place 5.5 stars for service, health, and great delicious meal.
