“Worth Seeing” We rented motorbikes from Mui Ne and drove them over to these Cham Towers. Beware: if you drive a little too far, you'll end up at a Buddhist monastery that is immediately behind these towers. You can even SEE the towers, which makes it easy to end up at the wrong location. We proceeded in to the monastery and then one of the workers cornered us and proceeded to chant "moneymoneymoneymoneymoneymoney". We tried to give him 10,000 VND, but that apparently wasn't enough for him because he showed us a 100,000 VND bill. We left without giving him anything. I didn't know that "money" was such a strong aspect of the religion. That aside, the Cham Towers are definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a little slice of history and a good overlooking view of Phan Thiet and the coastline. The cost is 10,000 VND per person + 2,000 VND for parking.
