Why Phuket Shooting Range is special ?
Phuket Shooting Range is without doubt the biggest attractions and activities complex on Phuket Island. Founded in 1989 it offers a suprisingly wide range of fun and exciting things to do: these include a shooting range, a racing go kart track, a snake farm and show, elephant trekking, paintball and ‘airsoft’ BB gun setup, ATV rides, and even a gems store – Kinaree House – in which you can purchase handcrafted souvenirs and jewels. And if that’s not enough then it’s good to know you can visit a tea museum displaying 700 varieties of tea from all around the world. All these activities are located in a huge park (approx 150,000sq/m) situated some 700m from Chalong circle on the road to Kata Beach.

Reviews
Very good place for with many different weapons Shooting court, good staff and very good security rules.
Always wanted to try real gun firing and do so while we are on a rest and relax trip in Phuket. Took a tuk-tuk from Jungceylon and pay 400 baht for a return to the shooting range and go-kart. Hubby try the sniper and I try the .38 revolver. Paper target at another 20 baht and cost us 2000+ baht for a round of 10 bullets each. No photos within the range except for their own camera which is sold to you at 200 baht each. Staff explained on the holding and helps with the loading. It was fun and felt great when you manage to hit the target. Hubby was excited after the first round and took another try with the .38 revolver. Of course, he did better than me...ha...ha... One of the most pricey activities given the short span of time but worth the experience for first timer. Hubby says it would be good if the staff could bring back the target after 5/6 shots for us to see how we are doing as the target is 25m or more away. Staff is also kind enough to let me video my hubby on his try on the revolver outside the range which would definitely be good memories for us. Photos taken were good and nice and should be made cheaper given the pricey cost of the activity. Also, the basic target should be part of the activity cost as you don't expect visitors to play without a target. Top-up for other target on request.
