Tips for you
Came here for an early lunch with my boyfriend. Each of us ordered a bowl of beef pho and an iced coffee with milk. The broth was flavorful but on the salty side which seems to be the norm in phu quoc. The iced coffee was super sweet, much sweeter than the average Vietnamese coffee I've had before. Overall, I enjoyed the meal, not the best pho I've had in Vietnam but decent enough to eat here again. Staff doesn't speak any English but there's English on their menu.
If Phu Quoc is your first destination while visiting Vietnam then, you MUST visit Saigon Pho. Pho is like a Vietnamese Trademark! And here in Phu Quoc, Saigon Pho Restaurant is the bestest! Well, it's not really a restaurant. It's a typical vietnamese restaurant designed to cater Local customers. So, don't expect an English Speaking Waiter or a table for two dining arrangement. But worth a try! A nod, sign language, smile, and a written bill will get you through the language barrier. Every sip is worth the price! Love it!
