Why Palawan Heritage Center is special ?
Palawan Heritage Center is a 480-square meter interactive museum that just opened last June 23, 2012, located at the Provincial Legislative Building along Fernandez Street, in the heart of the city of Puerto Princesa. The center is a modern museum with a more upbeat design, touch, look and ambience. It boasts of a hologram of a Tagbanua lass greeting the visitors with her gracious and warm welcome and inviting them to have a deeper appreciation of her home province. A must see in the Palawan Heritage Center is the Tabon Cave which has a very significant contribution to researches on the country’s history.

Do you want to understand what makes Palawan up? This is the place to go. The tribes, the people, the culture and a whole lot more. And the cool hologram intro makes it worth every penny you paid for. This is better than Palawan museum. It's not offered in most city tours because the entrance fee is at 100 pesos for Filipino residents and even more expensive if you're foreign. But with the presentation itself plus the audio visual presentation will make you appreciate Palawan as it is today.
This place boasts of interactive videos and holograms as well as dioramas and life size statues! A video of Palawan's history is shown to cap the tour.
They have interactive displays, air conditioned location and a good variety of displays. Nice for picture taking. Good to visit if you have a spare time during Puerto Princesa visit. Fee is 100 Php if I remember correctly and is open only on Mon - Fri: 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm.
