What's really good is the fluffy rice grains with a faint hint of the coconut milk it's steamed in. Sambal not too thick but slightly sweetish with ikan bilis (anchovies). They also serve sambal sotong, paru (cow lungs), kerang (cockles), rendang and etc. Price a bit expensive but worth it. Open for breakfast. Closes on Sunday.

This place looks really simple and spartan. It is basically a huge oversized open air tent with several rows of dining tables. But it serves an awesome plate of nasi lemak. You can really taste the coconut milk in the rice as opposed to the ones served by other places which skimps on the coconut milk to cut costs. You can have the basic nasi lemak setting or you can add squids beef rendang fried chicken or some falafel like potato cakes. Try this place out. You will not regret it. Parking is scarce but it is only a couple blocks from the Kampung Baru LRT station. The walk will do you good after consuming all the fat and calories from the nasi lemak!!
