Reviews
This street has a interesting collection of cafes, bakeries and other souvenir shops. It is often very crowded and frequented by the young chinese. This place provides a ideal place to chill in a cafe and watch the people along the streets.
We used Stretch-a-Leg to visit the Hutong area, Forbidden City and Tienanmen Square. Tony imparted a huge amount of knowledge and interesting facts on our day tour in Beijing. As this was a private tour we could go as fast or as slow as we wanted. Any information we wanted "which restaurant to try Peking Duck" Tony would share his suggestions. Meandering through the Hutong area where it was evident that Tony knew some of the locals was interesting and enabled us to see history and current local life at very close quarters.
It is easily accessible by the subway. It is a long lane and surprisingly, the shops are different, unique and seem to be selling a wide variety of stuff unlike the Old town in Lijiang. This place attracts many young people and it provides a lovely stroll.
