Why Nana Plaza is special ?

The Plaza is in the shape of a square, with a single opening on the western side, and consists of a ground floor and two additional floors. It started as a restaurant area in the late 1970s. During the early 1980s go-go bars, a few gogo bars appeared and gradually replaced the restaurants. The composition of the bars has changed over the past few years; the last non-go-go bar, the Woodstock Pub was sold in 2005 to the Rainbow Group and reopened as "Rainbow 4." A few bars offer a more pub-like or beer bar format without dancing; as of late-2009 only the Cathouse remained.

I think the most gogo bars in Nana Plaza is very expensive. If I want to go to gogo bars i prefer Pattaya but if you don't have time to go there this plaze is okey.

Same as with Soi Cowboy, some touroids make a brief sojourn to NP and make snap judgements because it's one of 'those' 'nudge-nudge, wink-wink' Thai places they're read about, or seen on the TV or heard about in the bar at home. It isn't London, or New York, or nowheresville; it's a country, a region and a city that have their own non-Western value systems, even if you can find a Starbuck's, Tescos supermarket, or Boots the Chemist just around the corner. Thailand does not work in the same way as the UK/US, etc., so don't try to impose your own value systems on it. it doesn't work like that. Obviously if you're easily offended or can't handle Thailand in the raw, stay away. It really is that simple. The Thai people, whatever their profession are still people and deserve respect as fellow human beings, not unthinking opprobrium.

The red-light districts aren't for everyone and if that's not your thing then don't go. But for single men, open minded couples and women the showbars in Nana Plaza are pretty much off the hook wild and crazy. You've got Angelwitch on the 2nd floor in Nana Plaza which is well known for it's erotic shows using multiple girls. Some light lesbian type shows, creative uses for banana's and strawberry jam too. The best part? For many of their shows the dancers will grab one lucky guy to volunteer to help them with the show on stage! Also on the 2nd floor is Spanky's which also features some lesbian shows and 2 nude girls in a see through shower stall. On the 3rd floor you've got Tokyo Player and my favorite Billboard GoGo which features a varierty of well done erotic shows on a rotating stage. At the other end of the bar is a Jacuzzi tub where 4 to 6 girls soap up nude. If you or your buddies are looking for some naughty fun then the showbars of Nana Plaza is where you'll want to head first!
