Why Nai Harn Beach is special ?
Nai Harn beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket with its excellent water quality. It's encompassed on both sides by jungle-covered mountains and there's a large freshwater lagoon inland. Never overloaded, even in high season, Nai Harn's usually busier at weekends as it is popular with both Thais and expats. Many tourists who come to Phuket never make it to this wonderful stretch of sand. At the southern end the lagoon flows into the sea, creating a stream that children love to play in.
What to explore at Nai Harn Beach?
A large majority of the restaurants installed under the trees at the top of the beach have been removed. It is yet still possible to order sandwiches, ice creams, cut fruit and a range of drinks that includes beer, soft drinks and juices directly from the beach to ambulant vendors, so you don't even have to interrupt your tanning
Great for swimming from November to April, care should be take in the low season (May-October) when there can be strong undertows. The local restaurants just above the beach make a great place to relax with a sundowner.
Further south is Ya Nui, a sandy cove that attracts snorkelers and divers. Another out-of-the way spot nearby is the tiny beach of Ao Sane, a great spot for snorkeling, reached by taking the road that starts at The Royal Phuket Yacht Club car park.

Tips for you
The beach is much like Kata and Karon beaches, sand has a bit of trash in it and water is ok. Lots of people during the day. If not staying near the beach, I would not make the effort to travel here from far away.
Nice sands, cool and windy, sexy waves just nice to having fun with the sufr board, love to see nice people lazing around in the beautiful beach, i just give this beautiful beach 5 stars
The beach is nice enough and had it not been labeled by TripAdvisor as one of the 25 best beaches in the world I may not have been as disappointed. I liked watching the sunset from the beach but it would have been nice to have bar or restaurants to sit at and enjoy an unencumbered view. I did not like the myriad of unattended dogs roaming the beach.
Nai Harn Beach is a beautiful beach. Very scenic with beautiful white sand and clear water. There is a bar on the beach and sun beds are 100 baht each. There are restaurants and fruit and food stalls close by. It's 700 baht in the Tuk Tuk from Patong.
