Why My Casa is special ?

My Casa is a restaurant in Danang city where a quality selection of Spanish tapas, homemade Italian pasta and Malaysian flavours is combined in this cosy fusion restaurant/bar. My Casa restaurant is the perfect spot to feel at “your casa” in the heart of Vietnam. They are specialised in Italian pasta, Malaysian cuisine & Spanish Tapas.

My Casa itself is three travellers sharing this Restaurant/House idea. Sharon, from Italy, knows how pasta has to taste. Jorge, from Spain, gives his Spanish touch in the kitchen. Kong, from Malaysia, shares his Malaysian flavours with their commensals. What they offer is homemade quality food in a comfortable and friendly environment. Travellers were cooking for (not just) travellers. Because they have been travelling a lot, they know what the visitor's needs are. There is nothing like after exhausting trips, long excursions and disappointing local restaurants, feel back home for a while.

Must try dishes :

Meatballs in bravas sauce

Slow cooked pork tosta

We ate outside at My Casa, umbrellas put up after it started sprinkling with rain. Lovely courtyard location (with mozzie repellant), cool and inviting on a hot summer night. Sherryn, lovely Italian waiter attended to our every need - even going to the trouble of mimicking a chilli passionfruit mocktail we had enjoyed in Hanoi - perfectly executed. Food was very reasonably priced (cheap) and very wholesome, authentic, fresh flavours. Variety of tostas was great, we had mushroom and the "heart attack" with pork belly - both delicious. Home made pasta was great, as was the Malay chicken satay. No frills food, lovely service and undoubtedly the most reasonably priced meal we've had since arriving in Vietnam a week ago!
