Excellent displays and well worth the visit! It is closed from December 1 to April 3, but unless you are ignorant, like the person who left the negative review, that information is clearly provided on the museum's webpage in English.

After battling the subway and actually finding the musium I was really disappointed to find that its closed for renovation until April 2015- yet did not find any postings online to advise of this.So save yourself the trip until after April 2015

Interesting display of Imari and other items, but not a must do or see I just happened to be in the area. I would not go out of my way to visit it.

This is a very well presented museum located within walking distance from the Yodoyabashi Sta.(exit No.1) of Subway Midosuji line, with a lot of history. Some of the ceramics date back before Christ! It is amazing to think that such detailed work could be performed so many years ago. If you are interested in china and ceramics this is worth a visit.
