Why Menega Cafe is special ?
Menega Seafood Cafe is one of the favourites among the many cafés that line Muaya Beach in Jimbaran Bay. Even though each of the venues serve practically the same dishes, many regard Menega as having the richest tasting ‘Jimbaran style’ seafood sauces. Good food and attentive staff come with prices that meet in the middle.
One of the best places to enjoy Bali sunsets, Jimbaran Bay matches the memorable seaside atmosphere with great seafood grills. Jimbaran Bay is simply one of the not-to-miss experiences on your Bali visit.
Menega Cafe, as well as the other neighbouring cafes, provides special arrangements upon request, featuring impressive setups for the table and seating layouts, especially for group bookings, special wedding receptions and other functions. Reservations are highly recommended during weekends and the holiday seasons as the coastal strip gets quite packed with diners – especially getting there for the sunsets.
Major renovations of the parking spaces and entrance have taken place in 2010, and now ample parking space has upped the convenience level for visitors. Public transport is provided by a taxi cooperative. You can freely take any taxi getting there, however the cooperative hold exclusive rights in taking passengers out. Always check for installed meters. If not provided, set an agreed upon negotiated price before getting in.

Reviews
We went to Menega Cafe at Jimbaran with a group of ten including a couple who live in Bali and speak Indonesian. When we arrived, we were concerned about the thick smoke coming from the kitchen. The restaurant was very busy, so we walked along and checked out some of the other options - the great thing is that you can check out the seafood on offer - none looked as fresh as Menega, and it was soon obvious as to why Menega was the busiest - their seafood was so fresh - with large tanks that you could choose from - doesn't get much fresher than that. Fresh young coconuts were one of the drinks choices so we had to try them. The skewers of calamari, bbq'ed prawns, grilled crab and red snapper were delicious - and the location and sunset views added to the atmosphere and unique experience of sitting with your toes in the sand. This is very much finger food and a sink and hand washing facility if located just near the door - no finger bowls here. This is a casual non pretentious setup - the quality of the seafood and location are its best features.
Best seafood restaurant n the price is not too expensive & great live music, but the services is bad.sweet corn on the seaside was good too,u must try sweet n chili corn
