“Great western pizza” 4 of 5 starsReviewed 29 October 2012 Craving a bit of western food - Mary Jane Pizza will not disappoint you. We had the cheesey bread - delicious. My fiancee made his own pizza - delicious. Sausage pizza - ok, more like hot dog pizza. Probably should have gone with the lasagna! The menu is in English and there are also pictures. Don't let that fool you, this is a pretty hip place. It was absolutely jammed.

Huge fan of Simon says: blue cheese & pineapple- perfect combo. Also love the spinach & caramelized onions with feta- Eve's temptation with apple also great if you're looking for a sweet pizza.

If you live anywhere near NTU, there's no reason to order from Pizza Hut or Domino's (unless you like them, I suppose). Maryjane's Pizza produces a far better product at a comparable (or even better) price. They deliver within a reasonable distance. The restaurant itself is a nice place for a sit-down meal. All right... Quality. Maryjane's crust is what I generally think of as "New York style." It's not cakey like the fast-food chains, but it's not as thin or crispy as Alleycats. It's got a bit of chew to it, even down the the ends of the crust, which is a nice change. The toppings are real food (Again, like Alleycats) with recognizable vegetables and identifiable meat. There are some nice variations, too. The Popeye pizza, for example, is bacon, spinach, and an egg. The egg is perfectly done, too, just runny enough to be awesome. And the price is fantastic. A pizza (about 12 inches) runs around 300NT, though some of the cheaper ones get pretty close to 200NT. Around now, there's also a deal going that if you pick them up to go, it's buy 3 and get 1 free. That means I was able to pick up 4 gourmet pizzas for just over 700NT. Can't beat that. On top of that, the staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is quite lovely, in an understated sort of way, and it's centrally enough located to find with minimal map-reading skills (but just hard enough to make it seem like a worthy quest). I highly recommend this place, take-out, delivery, and eat-in. Brilliant restaurant.
